Join, Learn, and Develop!
We are passionate about our profession; it’s not just a job. We are Rangers. And we are more than we think.
Join the Swedish Ranger and Conservation Association (SRNF in Swedish) and contribute to shaping and influencing the ranger profession. We are an association of rangers, nature conservationists, conservation officers, nature reserve wardens, game and fishery wardens who are passionate about our work. For us, it’s more than just a job – it’s our passion.
SRNF provides a platform for exchanging experiences and collectively developing our professional knowledge and skills in nature conservation and protected areas. We strive to showcase and promote our profession, dedication, and passion not only in Sweden but also in Europe and the rest of the world.
Why choose SRNF?
As rangers, we are often few and far between. It is up to each of us to find ways for personal development and overcoming challenges. However, when one is so dedicated to their work, they don’t always have the time and resources to do it alone. That’s where SRNF comes in. We aim to make it easier for our members to find the right education, courses, and information that help us become the professional rangers we aspire to be.
Through SRNF, we can establish contacts and collaborate with other professionals in nature conservation and protected areas. Together, we can promote and highlight this passionate professional group and showcase the importance of the work we do on a daily basis.
Onwards!
SRNF aims to establish partnerships with other organizations in the field of nature conservation, both nationally in Sweden and internationally. Through courses, conferences, and exchanges with other ranger associations, we can collectively develop both the profession and ourselves. Our affiliation with the European Ranger Federation (ERF) and the International Ranger Federation (IRF) provides us with the opportunity to participate in European and international developments.
Lastly, join and make an impact! As a member of SRNF, you have the opportunity to be part of shaping the future of the ranger profession. Together, we can make a difference and create a stronger and more visible ranger community.
